“William Butterfield and Hitchin’s Hidden Gem”

11/05/2014 @ 14:30 - 17:00

£8
Holy Saviour Church was designed by William Butterfield, the Gothic Revival architect better known for the creation of All Saints, Margaret Street, and the Chapel of Keble College, Oxford.
The Friends of Holy Saviour Church are delighted to welcome Dr Ayla Lepine, art and architectural historian, whose illustrated talk will set Holy Saviour Church in the wider context of Butterfield’s work and the 19th century High Church Movement.
The event will be followed by afternoon tea (included in the price) and a chance to enjoy and explore the church.
