Three Summer Concerts!

What better way of celebrating summer than coming to our three summer concerts!

(i) Sunday 30 June 2019 at 7.30pm

Let there be love – a gala concert of romantic music from the Swing Era and beyond, will be held in Bunyan’s Barn, Maydencroft Farm, Gosmore, SG4 7QA.

Featuring West End and television artist Mark Adams, with the Gainsford Swing Band, directed by Trevor Hughes, the concert will include well-loved songs such as Beyond the Sea, Girl from Ipanema, and For Once In My Life.

Proceeds in aid of Holy Saviour Church

(ii) Monday 1 July 2019 at 7.30pm

Taking The Recorder For A Walk – the virtuoso recorder player James Risdon, accompanied by Trevor Hughes (keyboard and organ) makes a very welcome return visit to Holy Saviour Church for an entertaining, and surprising evening of music for the recorder, as you’ve never heard it before!

(iii) Sunday 7 July 2019 at 4.30pm (refreshments from 4.00pm)

A Soirée of Music for Violin, Clarinet and Piano – join Royal Opera House Orchestra violinist David Butler, together with Gillian Hughes (clarinet), and Trevor Hughes (keyboard) in a sparkling and informal soirée of colourful and vibrant music by Khachaturian, Milhaud, Dvorak, and Gershwin.

The concert will be preceded by  refreshments at 4.00p.m.
