G. F. Watts – Art, Death and Immortality

On Sunday 24 January at 3.00 pm, The Friends of Holy Saviour Church invite you to the next in the series of Talk & Tea events – a talk by The Revd Cherry Sandover (Lecturer in Fine Art at South Essex College) about G. F. Watts, the eminent Victorian painter and sculptor, and the amazing Watts Cemetery Chapel, Compton, designed by his wife.

Admission to this special event is £8, including tea.  There is a £1 discount for members of the Friends.

For tickets and further information, contact Gill Chidgey (01462 423603), Clare Fleck (07717 270890), or Hitchin Initiative Office, Churchyard, Hitchin.

To follow the talk, The Friends are planning a group trip to the Watts Gallery, Artists’ Village, and Watts Chapel, in March.  Further details to follow.
