Holy Saviour Baby and Toddler Club
Tuesday mornings during term time:- 10.00 – 11.30am
This thriving group is held in our church hall and offers a caring, friendly and warm welcome for everyone. In July 2019, the Club celebrated its 40th anniversary. At the heart of the Triangle community we are offering fun for children and their adults!
The children will find paint, craft, imaginative play, physical activities and a reading corner when a quiet time is needed. The adults find they have time for friends and can enjoy refreshments while the children are busy.
New children are always welcome along with their mums, dads, grandparents, childminders, aunties…..
For more information, contact Jean Kidd (01462 641972).
Good Old Days Lunch
Holy Saviour Church provides a 2-course lunch for the elderly on the last Wednesday of each month except December. This is cooked by a number of volunteers; the food is very good and the occasion sociable.
This is not just for church members and we would particularly like to extend a warm welcome to anyone living in the ‘Triangle’ area around the church. The cost is £5 and we start at 12 noon and usually finish before 2.00 pm.
If you would like to join us, please ring Jean Boothby on 01462 640790. We do need to know numbers at least two days beforehand, so that our cooks can shop accordingly.
Knit, Stitch & Sew
The group meets from 10.00am till 12 noon every Wednesday in the
Vicar’s Room, 3 The Cloisters (across the road from the church). We welcome all levels of competence! Tea, coffee, biscuits (and sometimes cake!) is served and we just ask for a £2 contribution towards costs.
For more information, contact Clare Fleck (07717 270890).
